I haven't posted much about books lately. By the way, I took four books to New Orleans and only read one and a half of them. I was too busy drinking bloody marys and sampling every type of gumbo available.

The kanji study has slowed down somewhat. I have finished all the JLPT 4 ones, so now more and more often I am getting kanji that I recognize, but don’t really know any of the readings for or don’t know how to write.

Computer is not as dead as advertised. It is almost certainly a power supply issue, though, so that will have to be replaced.

Day 5 of the sit last night. We got home later than usual, and by the time we made and ate dinner, it was pretty late. I sat for only 10 minutes before I realized that I was just sitting there pleasantly dozing.  Before that, though, I had very little trouble connecting with the breath.
